Ahhh, let's start to put quotations from a book I loved, Small is beautiful, by E. F. Schumacher.
But the first quotation is not from him, but from Mahatma Gandhi, according to Satish Kumar, commenting Schumacher's book in the 2000 edition:
"Mahatma Gandhi said there is enough in the world for everyone's need, but not enough for anyone's greed."
